1. Navigate to Settings by clicking the Elate Logo Icon
a. Click the gear icon
2. Click on Directory
a. You will be taken to a list of Users in your Workspace
3. Here, you’ll find a list of users within your workspace, where Seats, Roles and Permissions can be managed
a. Please note that role changes made here by Admins will go into effect immediately, and will need to be reconciled at the end of the month by the Member assigned with the ‘Billing’ role
4. Below is a list of Roles and a brief description of each:
a. Admin: Has full access to the Workspace, they can assign Roles and Seats but any changes must be approved by Billing.
b. Billing: Solely responsible for approving Seat and Role assignments. They can assign Roles and Seats.
c. Member-Limited: Can view and be assigned work
d. Member-Full: Can be assigned any internal role such as Member, Admin, or Billing
e. Member-External: Cannot be assigned any internal roles. Commonly used for contractors acting on behalf of a company.
f. Collaborator: Collaborators are users outside of the workspace, for example, a Customer or Partner of a workspace member. One collaborator is included with each space.
g. Guest: Limited to access on specific items such as a message or task. For example a 3rd party vendor for temp access.
